|Application Note||ELISA: This HRP conjugated antibody can be used as tracer in sandwich ELISA with our matched anti-HCG antibody (mouse anti human HCG monoclonal antibody, cat No: ARG10179). The suggested working condition will be 1:1000 dilution.

|Storage instruction||For continuous use, store undiluted antibody at 2-8°C for up to a week. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Keep the antibody in the dark and keep protected from prolonged exposure to light. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Suggest spin the vial prior to opening. The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.|

|Background||Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a glycoprotein hormone produced by placenta after conception. hCG is comprised of a α subunit with 92 amino acids and a β subunit with 245 amino acids. The α subunit is identical to that of LH (Luteinizing hormone), FSH (Follicle-stimulating hormone) and TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone). hCG sustains corpus luteum, stimulats progesterone secretion, hence is critical to early foetus development. It has also been reported that hCG plays a role in the development of foetus’s tolerance to maternal immunity. hCG is the most sensitive biomarker for pregnancy.|
