Reconstitution It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile water to a concentration approximately 1 mg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min at room temperature to make sure the protein is dissolved completely.
Storage Instruction For long term, lyophilized protein should be stored at -20°C or -80°C, protected from light and moisture, for up to 12 months. After reconstitution , aliquot and store at 2 to 8°C for up to 2 days, or at -20°C or -80°C for up to 3 months Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Suggest spin the vial prior to opening.

Bioinformation

Gene Symbol EZH2
Gene Full Name Enhancer of zeste 2 polycomb repressive complex 2 subunit
Background KMT6 / Enhancer of zeste homologue 2 (EZH2) is a histone lysine methyl transferase which is associated with transcriptional repression. EZH2 is ubiquitously expressed during early embryo genesis, and becomes restricted to the central and peripheral nervous systems and sites of fetal hematopoiesis during later development. The expression of EZH2 was also seen in follicular T-cells at different stages during T-cell differentiation and is highly expressed in a variety of tumors including lymphoma, breast and prostate. EZH2 is involved in the progression of prostate canc
Cellular Localization Nucleus
PTM Phosphorylated by AKT1. Phosphorylation by AKT1 reduces methyltransferase activity. Phosphorylation at Thr-345 by CDK1 and CDK2 promotes maintenance of H3K27me3 levels at EZH2-target loci, thus leading to epigenetic gene silencing.
Sumoylated.
Glycosylated: O-GlcNAcylation at Ser-75 by OGT increases stability of EZH2 and facilitates the formation of H3K27me3 by the PRC2/EED-EZH2 complex.
