Overview

Product Description Rat Monoclonal antibody [YC5/45] recognizes 5-HT / Serotonin
Tested Reactivity Hu, Ms, Rat, All
Tested Application ICC/IF, IHC-Fr, IHC-P
Specificity The antibody specifically recognizes the formaldehyde conjugate of serotonin. Without the paraformaldehyde treatment, the antibody cross-reacts with dopamine and tryptamine in liquid phase haemagglutination tests. It does not react with catecholamine-containing neurons in formaldehyde fixed preparations. The antibody reacts with serotonin in neurons and recognises serotonergic sites in fixed tissue sections.
Host Rat
Clonality Monoclonal
Clone YC5/45
Isotype IgG
Target Name 5-HT / Serotonin
Conjugation Un-conjugated
Alternate Names 5-hydroxytryptamine; 5-HT
