|Target Name||IFT88 / Polaris|
|Alternate Names||Recessive polycystic kidney disease protein Tg737 homolog; hTg737; D13S1056E; Intraflagellar transport protein 88 homolog; TG737; TPR repeat protein 10; TTC10; Tetratricopeptide repeat protein 10; DAF19|
|Application Note||Western Blot: Preliminary experiments in Human Kidney, Liver and Lung lysates gave no specific signal but low background (at antibody concentration up to 1 µg/ml).
IHC-P: In paraffin embedded Human Kidney shows staining of the brush border in PCT. Recommended concentration, 3 µg/ml.
* The dilutions indicate recommended starting dilutions and the optimal dilutions or concentrations should be determined by the scientist.
|Calculated MW||94 kDa|
|Purification||Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.|
|Buffer||Tris saline (pH 7.3), 0.02% Sodium azide and 0.5% BSA|
|Preservative||0.02% Sodium azide|
|Storage instruction||For continuous use, store undiluted antibody at 2-8°C for up to a week. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Suggest spin the vial prior to opening. The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.|
|Note||For laboratory research only, not for drug, diagnostic or other use.|
|Background||This gene encodes a member of the tetratrico peptide repeat (TPR) family. Mutations of a similar gene in mouse can cause polycystic kidney disease. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]|
