Studying drug resistance with ABC Transporter antibody panel

Studying drug resistance with ABC Transporter antibody panel

ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters are a family of transmembrane proteins that utilize ATP hydrolysis to actively transport diverse molecules across cellular membranes. In cancer research, ABC transporters are best known for their role in multidrug resistance (MDR). Certain ABC transporters actively efflux chemotherapeutic agents out of cancer cells, reducing intracellular drug concentration and thereby decreasing treatment efficacy. Overexpression of these transporters is closely associated with chemotherapy resistance, tumor recurrence, and poor prognosis. Therefore, targeting these transporters has emerged as an important strategy to overcome MDR in cancer.

arigo offers ABC transporter antibody panel comprising antibodies against well-characterized drug resistance-associated ABC transporters. This panel provides a reliable solution for analyzing ABC transporter expression and facilitates the understanding of MRD mechanisms in cancer research.
