|Application Note||ELISA: This monoclonal antibody can be used as capture antibody in sandwich ELISA for HIV p24 detection in combination with HRP-conjugated tracer antibody (Clone 473, Cat No: ARG10168) and the sensitivity is around 2 ng/ml.
Western Blot: 0.1μg /lane of recombinant HIV p24 can be detected on blot when antibody is used at 0.1μg/mL.

|Background||P24 is the 24KDa, non-glycosylated protein that forms the Core (Capisid) of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and other Lentiviruses in the Retroviridiae family. P24 is expressed immediately after HIV infection and is detectable before host HIV antibody can be detected. Hence, HIV p24 is currently the target for early diagnosis of HIV acute infection.|
